David Saka Wakes Up Kona!!!
David Saka, a Junior at Moanalua High School, shot rounds of 68-71=139 -5 to place tied for second in the Kona Open. His great play earned him low amateur honors. Not bad for never playing the course or tournament before. In fact, he didn't even play a practice round. So much for over preparing.

" If I had participated in your program (KMR School) when I was young, I would be even a better player than I am now."

To aspiring young golfers in Hawaii, the name KMR means one thing: the highest possible training in golf. The KMR School of Golf is celebrating moving into its seventh year of operation. In that time, we have trained over 40 scratch handicap junior golfers. The names may change, but our success stories never stop. In 2008, we had a record of five different KMR students qualify for USGA National Championships.
